So, getting dressed is a daily battle and fighting the urge to always wear workout clothes (half way there?) is hard. But there are some new trends that are so nursing and kiddo chasing friendly that it seems a shame not to employ them. Also, once again I am realizing this, I feel so much better when I get dressed for the day.
Trends that work! High Waisted Jeans, these aren’t crazy high or anything like that, they wouldn’t flatter the still a little pregnant looking belly that I am carrying. But the slightly higher rise makes it easy to bend, run, squat and play- a huge requirement in my life. The other trend that is awesome and shockingly so are the high-low tops. I was steering clear, a bigger than typical chest seems like it would make these tops a little off in their fit. BUT these make for a perfect nursing top! I layered this one with a longer tank top and it means I can use the high-low top as basically a nursing cover and pull the tank top down. That means my belly isn’t exposed, Ever isn’t covered up and my breasts stay pretty under wraps too too. Win, win, win!

And, as always, lipstick makes everyday feel better. But I can’t help but smooch this little bean.
My new favorite? Maxi dresses, with loose enough tops to pull down to nurse. In loose flowey cotton…I can climb, play, sit on the grass and not worrying about getting all mussed up!
